Through darker roads
the light still pass
Like memories old
They cannot last
Of lovers old
And young mens' wakes
Love torn in two
is a mistake
To separate
It takes its toll
On every thought
Toward every goal
Though darker roads I have well known
To go again, I cannot go
No silver pass

To live the life
