As the birds succinctly sing
As if calling out to me

Bobbing heads with every beat

This is the drumbeat

Of my life

Although we appear as three

These two little birds

And me

Of One essence we all breathe

From One space we're born and leave

And One song from our mouths released

On solemn stones
Near ivory gates
The night near ends
The dawn awaits

The crisp and new
First breath I take
Sustains me
Until you awake

Not knowing
If you're passing through
Makes me concerned
If that it's you

But now I wonder
If it's true
Perhaps the truth was spoken then

I'd like the fairer stars to gaze
in favor on our younger days

From blazing sun
To sweet, clear haze

We look amazed
