Lessons from South America
I can't even believe how simultaneously short and long this trip has been.
What comes to me is my resistance to goodbyes, even if in the moment I am seemingly or really feel like I am apathetic when in company of others. When goodbyes happen, it's hard for me to think it's unlikely that I will ever see the person again-the finality is shocking and almost haunting.
To share laughter, music, joy, smiles, and love with one another
To really live and not worry all the time
To bathe in a moment with complete strangers
This is really what life is all about.
To not exchange information can be scary.
To be final about what an experience means to you is courageous.
Or maybe disconnected.
Or maybe, above all, genuine.
It lies in these moments of pure connection between people the reason for living and for this life experience.
As a wise man from Isla del Sol told me:
Nada es por casualidad. Todo es posible, nada seguro.
(Nothing is by coincidence. Everything is possible, nothing guaranteed)
I am grateful to share time with people from all over the world. Peace is the truth of what exists here. War is powered by ego.
People have different motives for saying yes to this life experience and each expression is like an intricate part of a garden, flourishing, renewing, revising all in a perfect way.
We all have a seemingly separate identity, and sometimes we forget to look at the faint, yet strong lines that connect everything we have seen, know, and even those beautiful things we aren't yet conscious of.
Love is truly here in every moment, so tangible if we just shift our attention that way.
My resistance to saying goodbye helps me understand that I can choose to look from a wider angle toward the events that occur in my life.
By doing this, I internalize and truly understand that we are all one in the same, nothing is final, and that we are eternally connected in the Highest Vibration, the All There Is.
I can breathe into that with great gratitude and certainty as I leave this beautiful continent.

Soul Food
Our food is very much alive. There is a life energy to it. Looking at food as just calories to consume may be an impoverished viewpoint of how we fuel ourselves. Food is sacred, delicious, and healing. Let's choose well and be ever so grateful.
